Cost per delivery

The unit metric: total delivery spend divided by orders delivered. Where delivery costs name the components, cost per delivery is the single number an operator watches, and the one Nash drives down when you set margin as the objective.

The day-to-day vocabulary of running deliveries. Routes, waves, drops, manifests, ETAs, SLAs. These are the units operators reason in, and the inputs every downstream model needs.
