The Meat N’ Bone story

Meat N’ Bone began with a simple problem: premium-quality proteins weren’t easy to access. Founders Gabriel and Luis wanted to combine education, quality, and convenience into a new kind of butcher experience.

"We realized there wasn’t a semi-premium player in the space. We wanted to educate the consumer on what they were buying, offer a product they couldn’t get anywhere else, and make it convenient to access."

With just $10,000, they grew Meat N’ Bone into an $11 million business in five years. Today, they operate seven retail stores in Florida, ship nationwide, and are expanding into major cities like Houston and Austin.

"We hand-butcher every single piece we sell. Customers trust us because of consistency. Once they try it, they understand the importance of what they’re putting in their body."

The challenge

From the beginning, Meat N’ Bone saw delivery as central to its model.

"We started as a delivery company. Same-day and convenience were always part of the vision."

But scaling delivery wasn’t simple. Managing drivers, insurance, and payroll made expansion into new markets time-consuming and expensive. At the same time, Shopify’s local delivery tools weren’t designed for businesses with perishable, high-value inventory.

"When we launched, we had to develop our own widget for delivery. Shopify was light years away from solving this. Local delivery was a challenge."

Meat N’ Bone + Nash

Enter Nash. With direct integration into Shopify, Meat N’ Bone could launch delivery in new markets in minutes, without hiring fleets or adding complexity.

"We had it in our business plan that we’d need to figure out drivers in Tampa. With Nash, we just turned it on. Within minutes, we were delivering in a whole new market."

How it works:

  • Customers place an order through the Shopify site.
  • At checkout, they see local delivery options with date and time windows.
  • Nash quotes directly in the platform and dispatches a driver.
  • Customers receive tracking links; the Meat N’ Bone team monitors everything in one dashboard.

"The funnel is pretty simple. Customer inputs their address, gets delivery options, and Nash handles the rest. It’s been a proven model in all our markets."

With Nash, Meat N’ Bone offers:
  • Same-day delivery
  • Two-hour rush delivery, guaranteed
  • Nationwide shipping alongside local fulfillment
  • Photo-proof and driver compliance for customer confidence

The result: scalable growth without delivery headaches

Nash has given Meat N’ Bone the ability to expand delivery without distraction. Peak seasons like Q4, when 40% of revenue comes from holiday prime rib and specialty orders, are now easier to manage, thanks to structured delivery options.

And as Meat N’ Bone looks to raise capital and expand into new cities, Nash is part of the growth playbook.

"Delivery isn’t something we stress about anymore. We know Nash works. And if customers ever ask, our team can check the dashboard, show proof, and move on. It just runs."
