Capacity

ROFR

Right of first refusal. A shipper's commitment to offer a lane's loads to one carrier before anyone else, usually the primary position in a routing guide earned at bid time. The carrier can still decline, and when it does the load moves down the waterfall to backup carriers and then to spot, so a ROFR sets the order of tendering rather than guaranteeing coverage.

Where this fits

Capacity comes in many shapes. Internal drivers, contracted carriers, gig couriers, autonomous units. Nash treats them as one pool ranked by the rules you set so each order goes to the option that best matches its promise instead of a static default.
