The detailed agenda is shaped around the confirmed room and circulated ahead of the day. This is not a Nash pitch: the people at the table do the talking, about how their operations actually run.
The Grocer’s Table seats ten to fifteen people, everyone at it a peer. We hold it at that size deliberately: sessions like these work when people speak plainly about what is working in their operation and what is not, and that kind of candor needs a room built with care. It is also a senior table, VP and above: the people who can speak for the whole operation.
Grocery is competitive, and some companies sit too close to one another for an open conversation. So we compose each room company by company, and we show you who has confirmed below, before you request a place, so you can judge the room for yourself.
That composition sometimes means a request we would otherwise love to say yes to does not fit this particular room. When that happens we will tell you directly, and we would genuinely like to host you at our GroceryShop happy hour later that week instead.
Confirmations are in motion. Companies appear here as they land.
Tell us who you are. We read every request against the room we are composing and reply personally, usually within a couple of days. A submission here is a request, not a confirmation.
We will read it against the room we are composing and come back to you personally.
Either way, you will hear from us.
